Campaigners took their fight to the doors of parliament
Disability campaigners took part in this crucial fight to prevent disabled people becoming prisoners in their own homes or being put back into institutions. The closure of the ILF will also affect all other users of social care as the costs of the current service users are being passed on to local authorities who are already making huge cuts to services and personal budgets and without ring-fenced funding.
